MILTON, MA — The Massachusetts House and Senate agreed on a $16.5 billion transportation funding bill early Wednesday morning, which would provide $25 million for projects in Milton. The bill, which was passed almost unanimously following a session that lasted until after 4 a.m., now heads to Gov. Charlie Baker's desk for approval. The bill would provide funding for the following projects in Milton: $3 million to add curbing to the Blue Hills parkway median and for the construction of a shared-use bike and pedestrian pathway$12 million for improvements to Route 138$10 million for a multi-use path connecting the MBTA Milton Station to Houghton's Pond Recreational Area via Adams St., Randolph Ave., Chickatawbut Rd., and Hillside St.
