Home-based Dog Daycare and Boarding facility near the Oakland Zoo. Daycare service includes daily pickup and dropoff. We are looking for an experienced dog handler and driver to manage the afternoon portion of Daycare then drive the dogs home. The hours are 1:30-6:30pm Tue/Thu/Fri. Daycare duties include overseeing playgroups, providing leadership, affection, structure, and care to dogs, taking photos of dogs, cleaning and disinfecting yard and kennel, and other miscellaneous tasks. Absolutely MUST love dogs and be a kind person. The drive involves loading 5-9 dogs and safely wiggling along the 580 and side streets to drop them off at their respective homes. Must have a clean DMV record, and excellent references. Seasoned dog walker/handler preferred. Must be able to work independently. Driver will use the company van and will be added to our insurance plan. $18/hr first three months, $19/hr next three months, $20/hour at six months. Payment will be rendered monthly via PayPal or Zelle and a 1099 will be issued at the end of the year. If interested, send an email to set up initial phone interview. Have references ready.
