MELROSE, MA — Memorial Hall will be among three sites the state announced Tuesday morning where Melrose police officers, firefighters, EMTs and other first responders will be able to get COVID-19 vaccinations. First responders working in Malden, Medford, Melrose, Stoneham, Wakefield and Winchester will be able to get vaccinated at Memorial Hall. Melrose first responders will also be able to get vaccinated at the Malden Police Station and the Medford Police Station Community Room. First responder vaccinations begin Monday, Jan. 11 in Massachusetts. Memorial Hall will only be vaccinating on Saturdays, meaning vaccinations won't start until Jan. 16 there. The Medford site starts the earliest — Jan. 14 — and the Malden site will only be open Fridays. Mike Carraggi can be reached at [email protected]. Follow him on Twitter @PatchCarraggi.
