Description

Hello, I need to rehome a female cockatiel and budgie due to having to move. Both free fly at the moment since they lived in an aviary setup for a long time, though the budgie doesn't really mind cage time. I'd prefer the cockatiel not have her wings clipped if possible, since she's very accustomed to it, and generally will sit on your shoulder rather than fly around. She knows not to fly into windows and such so its never been a problem and actually stopped her from crashing into things early on. Both eat Harrisons pellets and a mix of fresh food daily, usually a mix I buy online that you simmer for ~10 minutes and serve up, or whatever fresh veggies I have. They aren't picky. Lutra is a 5 year old cockatiel, originally from Denise's parrot place. She has always been a very sweet girl and is always excited to hang out. She loves getting scritches, meeting new people, trying new food, and playing with toys. She gets along fine with other birds in my experience and would do well in a home with people who have a lot of time to interact with her. Corvo is a 4-5 year old parakeet. She was adopted from a family that didn't have time to properly care for her, and during that time had some damage done to her toes. This doesn't seem to bother her and she has no issues running, flying, perching on things, etc. She is not hand tame but is definitely friendly, and will often fly over and play around in my hair when I am cleaning her cage, getting her food, etc. She could likely be worked with to be hand tame, but I have not had enough time unfortunately.
