Description

Hello, I have an almost 2 year old (born 10/14/20) spayed female Rex rabbit available. She is fully litterbox trained, has no accidents. She eats a lot and drinks a ton of water. She needs a very heavy water bowl or else she will throw it around and make a mess. She eats unlimited Timothy hay, a tablespoon of Timothy based pellets, and a few cups of veggies every day. She loves to be pet and is super soft as rexes usually are! She doesn’t love being picked up, but will tolerate it if need be. She doesn’t bite, but is territorial of her cage, she likes having her own space. She was cleared at the vet in March of this year. (She will come with all of her paperwork) The reason for rehoming her is because she is simply not happy here. We live in a small apartment and she lives in a dog exercise pen. She constantly chews on the bars every time she is put back in the pen after play time. We’re completely unable to free roam her as she is destructive, as many rabbits are, and she will chew on the carpet and get into mischief. Ideally, she will find a home where she can have a safe space to free roam (without carpet) or live on a nice farm where she has plenty of space. She just hates being confined. If you plan on putting her in a pet store cage, please do not contact. She would be miserable. She will not come with the pen as I need it for my other rabbit (who is much more comfortable with apartment living) She will however come with her carrier, as well as her litterbox, water bowl, and salad bowl. I need to keep the litter and hay for my other rabbit. We recommend buying horse stall pellets and Timothy hay bales at Murdochs. You’ll save a lot of money that way. She has lots of energy, loves to run and binky as much as her body will allow. Rehoming fee is $50
