MARLBOROUGH, MA — As difficult as it was to find a Christmas tree in 2020, now it's time to start thinking about throwing yours away. In Marlborough, the public works department has set up five drop-off sites, which will be open until Jan. 15. On top of that, Marlborough will do a Christmas tree collection on Jan. 8. The Christmas tree drop-off locations for 2021 will be: Memorial Beach parking lot, intersection of Causeway and Hosmer streetsGhiloni Park (rear entrance), 265 Boston Post RoadCity parking area, 45 Jefferson St. Jericho parking area, 410 Brigham St.Felton Conservation Area, 798 Elm St.Although it goes without saying, tree pickup is for real trees only, and all ornaments must be removed.
