Beautiful Parakeet, Boy

We have a beautiful, young parakeet in need of a new home. He hatched earlier this spring, 2022. He is really active and we love him. We adopted him as a hatchling in hopes that he would eventually mate with one of our female parakeets. He does get along well with the females. However, we built our aviary to accommodate a 7 year old cockatiel that we inherited when our Grandma passed away. The cockatiel was raised isolated from other birds and does not know how to defend itself. Because of the cockatiel's laid-back personality, the parakeet is picking on the cockatiel. We have to honor the cockatiel's needs and find a new home for our lovely little boy parakeet. The parakeet gets along well with our younger cockatiel. The older cockatiel is a total pushover and is unwilling to defend himself. This is not the fault of the parakeet. He is a fun, active little parakeet. To be honest, our aviary is a little dull without him in it. We are asking $20.00 to ensure he goes to a good home. He is currently in a comfortable cage. If you would like the cage and it's set up, I will sell it for an additional $30.00. The cage is not new, but it is larger than many parakeet cages. If you do not need my cage, please bring something to carry him home in (birds are escape artists during transit). Cash only, please.
