Established florist business seeking a full time employee for packaging and shop help.
5 day work week Mon-Sat, with Sunday + 1 weekday off.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
-Securely and efficiently packaging our products to prepare them for delivery
-Sweeping, Organizing and taking out trash to maintain an orderly production area
-Maintaining an organized and well stocked packaging area and preparing packaging materials ahead of time
-Assisting with loading and unloading trucks and vans with merchandise
-Loading product into coolers overnight for storage
-Courteous and professional interactions with customers, recipients and colleagues
-Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
-Effective and clear communicator
-Experience in floral industry preferred
-Able to work overtime hours during floral holidays (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas, etc.)
-5 day work week - Must be able to work Saturdays - day off will be set day Mon-Thurs
-Willing to work occasional Sunday hours when needed
-Expected to work occasional late night rental pickups for flat rate bonus pay ($100+)
-Must be able to lift 50 pounds
