Musician looking to join alternative rock band

I am a 21 year old college student who is looking to join or start an alternative rock band. I've been singing and playing guitar for about seven years, and I also play bit of bass. It doesn't matter to me whether I play guitar or bass (I'll do either), but I would definitely love the chance to sing or at least co-lead vocals in some aspects as well My influences range from genres such as pop punk, classic punk, 90s alternative rock, emo, grunge, etc. I am also open to jamming casually. I have my own transportation as well.
