Description
A local non-profit animal rescue is looking for a forever home for Grant, rescued from Duplin County, NC, on his last day.
He was listed as a mixed breed, but he looks like an American Staffordshire Terrier/pitbull mix. He weighs 46 pounds and is about eight years old. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and ready for his forever home.
Grant is now secure in a foster home in Virginia Beach and is being welcomed by the family's pets and kids with open arms! His foster says that Grant is a "perfect" dog. He checks all the boxes that families like: He is housebroken, crate trained, sweet as a lamb, very submissive and great with all their dogs and children. She says he is a very special dog.
He also walks well on a leash and loves having his belly rubbed! At eight years old, he has some age on him but he has such a winsome personality and sweet demeanor that age seemingly becomes irrelevant. He is a total sweetheart and lovebug!
His sweet soul is expressed in his soft eyes. Grant is an exceptional dog and he is looking for a wonderful forever family!
Please respond to this message if you are interested in adopting Grant! He'll make a great companion for a new owner.
