bass player looking for like-minded musicians

I’m a bass player looking to start a new project. At the moment I’d like to find a jazz rock inspired drummer who can experiment with time signatures (no TOOL or progmetal) and be an active participant in the writing process. After we’ve locked in, we can layer other musicians and a singer. I’m thinking soundscapes from Radiohead, walls of sounds from shoegaze guitars and moments of drone to allow the song to breathe. I‘m in north Arlington and willing to travel nearby. I also have a space in my house. I’d like to do 1-2 days a week.
