Description
Meet Mana, she’s a 2yr old shepherd/lab mix. I got her as a rescue from Tijuana when she was between 2-3 months old (not sure on her DOB). The rescue already had her spayed when I got her and she’s up to date on all her shots. She is literally the perfect dog, I spent a lot of time training her and she listens great. We always get compliments on her behavior and personality from wag walkers and just others in general. She is house trained, and knows not to go on the furniture and won’t dare when someone’s home (although when I’m not home I know she goes on the couch). She’s need to be exercised, she isn’t a dog to get and let sit home all day every day. She will get bored and become destructive so if you’re not an active person or up for taking her on long walks please don’t message me. We’re always at dog parks, dog beaches etc. She’s extremely playful and friendly towards other dogs. The only time she has issues is with extremely high energy dogs that won’t leave her alone when she doesn’t wanna play, and even then she’s never attacked or gotten aggressive, she’ll just show her teeth. She will be the perfect dog for someone who either works from home or is home a lot. My work schedule changed and I’m not home very much and she isn’t adjusting to it which is why I need to rehome her. She does randomly get anxiety and I give her Prozac every day. The only time you really notice is when she’s either in the crate or has been left home without letting her burn off energy before leaving. I can’t emphasizes this enough, if you leave her home alone for long periods of time she will try to escape, and get destructive. Our ideal adopter will be home a lot, maybe have a second dog to help keep her company, have a yard (although I live in an apt so it’s not a deal breaker) and have the ability to take her out and burn off energy. In regards to small kids she’s never really been exposed to them. We’ve had kids probably about 3yrs old walk by who have wanted to pet her so I allowed it while I was holding into her. She was totally fine but you could tell she didn’t know what to do, she just froze and sat there looking at me like wtf is going on. Take it as you will, I’m not saying she is or isn’t good with small children. She just hasn’t been exposed so I honestly don’t know. I’m going to be very selective about who adopts her, we will need to meet and I will also need to see your living arrangements. You will also get everything I have for her. Food, treats, toys, crate etc. There will also be a rehoming fee of $300.00 If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out. She literally perfect, just needs someone to be home more then I am.
