I am looking for others who enjoy playing or singing the music of Tom Jobim and other Bossa Nova masters. I have about two hours of Bossa music ready to play on guitar and keyboard. I can sing the music in English and Portuguese, but not particularly well in either. I used to play with a trio at weddings and corporate gigs and really love the music - now I am working full time outside of music but have still been playing out of my Jobim songbook in the evenings for years. In my mind, this would be a passion project with conversations about performances/wine bar gigs down the road if we find a group with chemistry. Especially looking for bass, percussion, and vocals but open-minded. If you contacted me before please do so again. I had an issue with my email and lost most responses. Obrigado!
