This is a fundraiser to help a school pay for much needed shade upgrades and cooling units. We all experienced one of the hottest couple weeks in history. A lot of school classrooms do not have AC and have to manage with fans. The fans did not help during those weeks since it was just circulating very hot air. When it’s that hot inside a classroom it’s very hard for kids to learn and the playground was even worse. They plan to use these shade upgrades so the kids won’t have to sit in the sun and can choose to be in the shade. They also plan on buying cooling units for the classrooms.
