I just now realized my initial post got deleted. I don't know why. I am a 37 year old woman seeking fellow creatives. I come from a strong-ish musical background (band, choir, madrigals, musicals, cabaret). I am aching to have some music creation in my life. I am willing to drive up to 30ish minutes once a week in the early evenings to practice. I live in Charleston. My voice is jazzy/bluesy/big alto voice in a church full of people, think Adele or Etta James. I am looking to start with harmony, a cappella sounds, possibly acoustic, maybe eventually move to cabaret material (theater, dance, song, comedy). I am into gardening, raising my little people to be emotionally competent, cooking, and SINGING ! I'm hopeful to find someone who I can connect with musically.
