I’m looking to rehome my lab terrier mix. She’s 1 yr old, around 30 lbs, spayed, and up to date on shots. She’s very sweet, good with other dogs, but tends to be shy around new people. She doesn’t run away and can be let off leash and knows basic commands; but can be very hyper and needs someone who can exercise her. She is very much a shadow dog and wants nothing more than to love on you and follow you around. She struggles a lot with separation anxiety but loves car rides and to go with you everywhere. I am going to be very picky who she goes to, because as of now she’s in a loving home and is getting all the care and love she needs, and I do not want her placed in a shelter. My older dog was a rescue and has anxiety and insecurity issues, and the two have been having problems. It breaks my heart to do this, but I want to be able to give both dogs what they deserve and I feel this is the best way to do it. There’s no rush on this and I’d rather find the best fit rather than the soonest fit. She does have a small rehoming fee to ensure she is going to a good home. I just want to do what’s best for her and give her all she deserves.
