Hello, Do you or your child need a math or science tutor? I have 3 years experience of tutoring middle/high school and college level math and science courses. I have 4 years experience teaching college chemistry courses, and over 400 students total. I have a bachelors degree in chemistry and working towards a PhD. Education Levels: Middle School, High School, and College Level Tutoring Subjects: Math: Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus Science: Chemistry, General Biology, General Physics My tutoring style: I ask a lot of questions in the beginning to gauge what your strengths and understandings are, and how to improve on areas that are more difficult. Aside from tutoring you in the subject, I will encourage better study and organization habits. My students in the past love that rather than giving answers right away, I ask lots of questions to guide you to your understanding of the correct answer. I offer online and in-person tutoring. I charge $20 / hour, with a two-hour per session minimum. Interpersonal interactions and personalities can impact both teaching and learning in major ways. If you would like, we can also schedule a 1-hour session ($20) for meet and greet at a local coffee shop. You can describe the topics and questions you have, and I can do a mini-tutoring session on this subject (15 minutes within the 1-hour session).
