looking for writing partners or a writer workshop group to join

Wanting to join a local fiction writing workshop group, or perhaps hook up with a few other writers who would like to start a group of their own. I’m primarily interested in short stories, mostly genre, including mysteries, contemporary fantasy, and science fiction, but I dabble in mainstream as well, and I also have a novel in the works. I live in the Parkside District near Pine Lake and Stern Grove, and I don’t drive, so I’d prefer to find a group that’s west of Twin Peaks, and ideally out here in the Sunset or Parkside areas, although I might be flexible about that. Once again, if such a group doesn’t exist or isn’t available to me, but there are other writers out there who are also looking for writing companions with similar goals, let’s talk and maybe we can start a group of our own.
