Looking for a self-motivated individual who is multi-talented in most aspects of home repair (electrical, plumbing, AC, drywall, painting, windows, doors, screen repair, and appliance repair/installs). Someone who can think on their feet and will feel accomplished by finishing out any job right, be it large or small. Understanding the meaning of hospitality goes a long way in this position. As a maintenance tech in this industry of short-term rentals, you will come face-to-face with guests and owners so you could be the difference between a good vacation and a great vacation! Duties to include but, not limited to.. Performing maintenance to our clients' vacation rentals; including furniture repair, unclog drains, painting and replacing/repairing broken items. Repair/replace garbage disposals, plumbing basics, shower heads, sink hoses, changing gaskets, toilet seat lids, wax rings, levers, flaps, drywall, paint, caulking, appliance work, etc. Move heavy objects and be on your feet for prolonged periods of time. What you'll bring… Prior experience conducting home maintenance. Fantastic troubleshooter and problem solver. Incredibly hardworking and willing to do what it takes to complete a job. Loves handy work and owns their own tools already. Great communication skills and ability to think on your feet. Lives no more than 20-30 minutes from our office. Has a smartphone. Ability to lift heavy objects. Ability to be self-sufficient and, independently complete jobs. Having an SUV/ Truck would be best but, is not required. Employees who are required to drive a personal vehicle must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and be at least 18 years of age. Employees who are required to drive a company vehicle must have a valid driver's license, be at least 21 years of age, and have been a licensed driver for no less than 3 years.
