Lahaina Inn Resort on Ft Myers Beach is adding to our Housekeeping Team! We are a small resort with a passion for the beach life and showing our guests the most beautiful time while they enjoy the sunshine! We are currently looking to build our Saturday team, but you could pick up shifts on Fridays as needed. Saturdays start at 8:00 am and typically conclude between 2:00 and 3:00 pm. The housekeeping team at Lahaina is responsible for cleaning all guest areas, but your focus will be in the guest’s rooms. A typical day will include: • Changing bedding • Vacuuming all areas • Clean bathrooms (sink, shower, toilet, mirror, vanity, floors) • Clean kitchens (empty fridge, wipe down cabinets, sink, stove, oven, floors) • Dust ceiling fans • Wipe down all doors, vents, flat surfaces • Ensure furniture is back in place As you will be the main Lahaina representative in our rooms, we rely on you to report any maintenance issues; if you see something that you would want fixed in your own home, please tell us. We want things in tip-top shape for the next group staying on our property. We also ask that all members of the Lahaina team follow department specific policies and procedures as well as maintain all safety and sanitation policies. We find that our top housekeepers have the following traits: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Highly responsible & reliable • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team • Previous housekeeping experience a plus Job Type: Part-time Salary: $12.50 per hour
