Join the Acting and Film Production Workshop in Tampa Real acting/set experience with a seasoned director/cinematographer of 8 years in Hollywood. 5 day breakdown includes: *1 monologue or scene of choice for reels edited and polished *Safe space to just try out filmmaking and learn something new from a professional *Tricks of the trade and film industry myths and secrets *A lifetime contact in LA for when you're ready to make the move CREW: For those looking to learn Sony's cinema camera or the basics of cinematography, we will be shooting on a Sony FS7, just like TV. This a collaborative 5 days of fun, learning, and creation; in the end you will have something of your own. $500 for 5 day workshop to cover the editor costs and locations. INSTRUCTOR: Sara Newton is a showrunner living in Los Angeles and runs the production studio at Gunpowder & Sky. The goal of this workshop is to shake off insecurity of not knowing what it's like to be on set. Not a beginner? Come workshop ideas and get some tape.
