Description

I need to find a new home for Koda and really want him to land somewhere he will be taken care of. Note: I will be interviewing for the proper fit. He is very well-trained in voice/high reward plus e-collar for when he's off leash. He is almost half Catahoula which means he does have hunting instincts. He LOVES to cuddle and loves to be wherever you are. During the day he likes to just chill in the shade, or under your feet. But he does need 2 good walks a day. I walk him one hour in the morning and another 45 minute around 4pm/5pm. He loves a good hike, too. He doesn't bark or go to the bathroom in his own yard! His challenges are he doesn't like being left alone for long periods at a time. Also, he does not react well to un-neutered dogs. Overall, he gets along with most dogs and loves to find a good play mate for some romping around. He's good with kids, but not too many at a time. Older kids would probably be better, although one of his favorite people in the world is a 3-year old girl. Here is some info: Age = 3 or 4 Gender = male Up to date on medical care = yes Spay/Neutered = yes Microchipped = yes Are they house trained? = yes Do they know any kinds of commands (i.e. sit, down, shake) = all of those. plus excellent recall. What does their new home look like? = A yard to chill in. possibly another dog to keep him comfortable when he's left alone. A female companion would probably be best. A family or person who is home a lot, because he doesn't like to be left alone. Are they good with children? = yes, a little older is best I think. Do they need to be the only animal in the home? = no If you or if you know anyone looking for a GREAT companion sweet heart, please let me know and please pass this along. I will be so, so sad to let him go, but he deserves more than I can give him
