LEXINGTON, MA — The year 2021 is revving up with election prep for Lexington's 2021 town-wide election.
While the election is still three months away, the deadline to return nomination papers is fast approaching. Nomination papers went live in the town on Dec. 4 and the last day to take out nomination papers is on Friday. The deadline to return them is Jan. 11.
Lexington's town election is March 1.
The following positions are on the 2021 ballot:
One Select Board for a term of three yearsOne Moderator for a term of one yearTwo School Committee members for a term of three yearsTwo Planning Board members for a term of three yearsOne Lexington Housing Authority member for a term of five yearsTown Meeting Members positions in precincts 1 through 9 are availableAccording to the town clerk's website, the only contested race is for the Planning Board, aside from several Town Meeting Member positions.
