As the warm weather fades and the cooler months arrive, our bodies welcome extra support with the cold and flu season upon us. Come learn how to nourish yourself daily with herbs helpful for the immune system, and how to make your own delicious elderberry syrup.
Join us as we have immune boosting tea on a short stroll through the Garden followed by a demonstration of the easy process to create your own elderberry syrup. While our syrup is simmering, we will discuss & explore herbal teas, tinctures, and other infusions to help maintain whole body health through every season.
Garden gate opens at 10:45. We'll meet on the patio for tea & introductions at 11, then start our class together. Bring your favorite tea cup, notebook, empty medicine jar, & plant tale. Leave with curiosity, connections and a full heart.
Five scholarship tickets are available for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color). Email [email protected] to claim one!
**Note: Be sure to bring a clean, empty jar or container to take your fire cider sample home in. Dress for the weather and insects. We are also accepting donations of pint or smaller size glass jars with lids. Thank you & we look forward to seeing you in the garden!
