We have an immediate opening for an Assistant Maintenance Helper/General Worker who has good communication skills and can interface with other departments on the property in order to complete work assignments. Under general supervision, the Assistant Maintenance Helper/General Worker performs a variety of work in the winery. This position requires initiative and a strong work ethic. Must be self-motivated and have dependable transportation and excellent attendance. Tasks may include some of the following: -Cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and cellar facility -Assist in moving pallets of wine -Clean wine barrels -Assist in Crush during harvest -Keep Lab and bathrooms stocked and clean -Perform local wine delivery as needed -Distribute bi-weekly bottled water delivery to appropriate departments -Pack wine orders for shipment and/or delivery as needed -Clean Winery signs/windows -Sign for incoming packages, notify and/or deliver to the recipient on property -Helps to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient winery -Report mechanical malfunctions to the appropriate party for action -Maintaining clean, safe, and orderly work sites -Observe and practice safe working protocol Applicant must have the ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
