This event is hosted by WiCyS Colorado and is sponsored by Zscaler for food & drinks. Speaker BiosHenry Yu is a cybersecurity executive with over 20 years of experience. He currently runs Marvel Advisors. A boutique cybersecurity firm that does vCISO services and develops end-to-end enterprise-wide security roadmaps for large companies. Prior to that, he was with DISH as Head of Wireless Security, where he helped secure the first greenfield 5G network in North America. Before DISH, Henry led the security, network, and corporate infrastructure teams at Red Robin International. Henry has held executive roles, including VP of Global Security Architecture and Engineering for Level3 and VP of Network Technology and Head of Security (CISO) for TW Telecom. Henry and his wife, Angela, have two high school-age girls. In his free time, Henry enjoys BBQ, golf, and watching movies. Monica Coughlin serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Colorado Technology Association, the state's premier non-profit tech organization advancing the Colorado technology industry through advocacy, economic development, community building, and workforce development. Prior to joining CTA, Monica was the Chief Strategy Officer for Colorado Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT). In her role with the State of Colorado, Monica's responsibilities included development and execution of OIT’s overall organizational strategy, promoting Colorado as the ideal location for technology based companies and workers, and defining the overall broadband strategy for the State of Colorado and promoting coordination and collaboration activities across the state.  Benjamin Edelen is the Chief Information Security Officer of Boulder County, Colorado and chairperson of the Colorado Homeland Security Advisory Committee's Cyber Subcommittee. Benjamin’s program protects his community and critical infrastructure through the alignment of cyber security and our values, helping people stand together, and by getting the basics right. Gina Yacone is the Information Security Official for TRACE3’s mountain state region, and is based out of Denver, Colorado. Gina was responsible for the protection of numerous organizations as a vCISO. She managed several organizations’ overall security strategy and operation, including implementation and guidance around protective and detective controls; security operations; threat intelligence; incident response; governance, risk and compliance (GRC), risk assessments; audits; architecture and integration; and secure software development life cycle (SDLC). She has worked in various industries, including healthcare, biotech, pharmaceuticals, hedge funds, alterative investment, insurance, education, manufacturing, technology, and local government. Additionally, Gina was a part of a startup that built a Security Operations Center (SOC), which offered Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and threat intelligence services. Check-InAll attendees must register at the Red Canary front desk to get a badge before proceeding into the event space. When you arrive, come up to the 9th floor for check-in and then proceed to the 8th floor for the event.
