If you enjoy playing nylon string guitar and would like to get together with other players, this meetup is for you! Nylon string guitar enthusiasts gather each 2nd Saturday at The Strum Shop to play through two and three-part arrangements of songs - some classical, some more modern, but always fun! Some titles are: Calypso, Joropo, Les enfants du Piree, Mango Walk, Noche En Los Andes, Crazy Rudolph, Handel’s Gavotte, etc. We also play rounds such as Dona Nobis Pacem and Skip to My Lou. This event is well suited to intermediate to advanced finger style guitarists who have some music and/or tablature reading background. Earlier students are welcome to sit in, however this is not a class and instruction will not be provided.
