Come and join us for a morning hike at Sleeping Giant State Park. We will be ascending the 739 feet to the 4 story observation tower via the tower trail. This is a casual, uphill hike great for beginner hikers and will offer great views of Quinnipiac University and the city. We would like to include well socialized, friendly, four legged friends. Make sure to bring bug spray, water, and wear comfortable clothes. It is mostly shaded but sunscreen is always recommended. We request that masks be worn (over mouth and nose) at times that you expect to be within 6ft of someone who is not in your household or Covid unit. Being vaccinated is not an exception. As always, feel free to approach anyone there; come expecting to meet a lot of new people.
