Officer Jillian M. Smith was fatally shot while responding to a domestic assault call on December 28, 2010. Officer Smith was born in Arlington, Texas and attended Arlington Independent School District schools graduating from Seguin High School in 2005. Officer Smith graduated Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2009. In celebration of her legacy, AAOPAA have created the Jillian M. Smith Fund to honor her leadership qualities and heroism. This fund provides financial assistance to domestic violence survivors who are in transition. Cocktails will be served at 7:30pm, dinner at 8pm, gaming, dancing and prizes start at 9pm. Deborah Ferguson from NBC5 will be our celebrity emcee. Attire is Western Flair.
