8th grade students and their families are invited to learn about the Academy for Government & Leadership located at Madison High School. This Academy will educate students in all aspects of governance including public policy, public administration, ethics, and international relations while taking a deep dive into United States government operations and examining the role that politics plays in shaping our country. The academies of Morris County Vocational School District offer students a unique high school experience combining comprehensive academics with career and technical education (academy classes). By attending this session, students and families will have the opportunities to: - learn about the Government & Leadership career pathway program that extend beyond a traditional high school curriculum - understand the admissions process and application system - meet current students - tour the facility and academy classroom Please make sure to have registration ready at time of check in (printed or on your phone)
