We are going to have an OPEN HOUSE latte art throw down for the Central Illinois coffee community. All are welcome! Baristas, roasters, home hobbyists...anyone can enter the throwdown! We will be closing up shop at 4pm and re-open our doors for the event at 4:30pm. At 5pm we will start the throw down on time. Top 3 placers will win CASH and some major swag! 1st place: $125 + an ACAIA Pearl Coffee scale 2nd place: $75 + swag 3rd place: $50 + swag There will be a $5.00 "BUY IN" to compete. JUDGES PANEL Starved Rock Coffee Company • Camaille Petersen of At Home Magazine • Matthew Scott from Counter Culture Coffee Chicago  The competitors are going head to head. We will pull 2 names from the list randomly. We will have a shot puller to do a 1oz shot for each competitors capp cup as they steam! Drinks will be presented to the judges table... and they will point to the drink they feel is the "Knock Out". Winner of that round moves forward...This repeats until we have our top 3!!! During the event we will be raffling off some awesome sponsor swag. Winners names will be pulled from the competitors list to match prizes at hand.
