Framingham's Memorial Building Will Be Coronavirus Vaccine Hub

FRAMINGHAM, MA — Framingham's main municipal building has been designated as the city's hub for first responders to get coronavirus vaccinations, state officials announced Tuesday. The Memorial Building, 150 Concord St., could begin doling out vaccines to police officers, firefighters and EMTs as soon as Jan. 11. The hub is one of 114 being set up across the state to prioritize vaccines for first responders. Unlike other sites around the state, the Memorial Building hub will be for Framingham first responders only. The Natick Community Senior Center will serve Natick and Wayland, Concord-Carlisle High School will serve Sudbury and Marlborough High School will serve Hudson and Marlborough. First responders are being prioritized in the first wave of vaccinations in Massachusetts along with health care workers, long-term care facility residents, home health aides and people living in congregate care settings like shelters and corrections centers.
