This short 3hr session is an introduction to the Biblical foundations of the science of trauma-informed care and an overview of practical care interventions so that the Christian minister will be better equipped to minister to traumatized individuals. Jamie Tanner, MACL is Founder of Simple Sparrow Care Farm and is currently pursuing a DEdMin at Dallas Theological Seminary. Her dissertation research is on the development of a Bible based, trauma-informed care farm training program. She will give an overview of current trauma-informed care research and therapeutic interventions then show how Scripture supports the science for greater relational connection and ministry to traumatized individuals.
