Artist and teacher Florentina Favela shares the meaning behind the traditional Altars made for Día de los Muertos celebrations. Florentina bestows upon us not only her knowledge and understanding of the tradition, but also hand made and authentic elements and all the supplies to make our own shoebox-sized Ofrendas for our own homes. Bring photos and memories of those you wish to honor, all other supplies will be provided. (Bring a shoebox if you have one!) Come share your memories and stories with friends and neighbors.
