Previously he was the Washington bureau chief for Rolling Stone, has worked for Mother Jones, National Journal, and The California Sunday Magazine. His work has also appeared at The New Republic, Huffington Post Highline, and Men's Journal. He writes features, profiles, and investigative pieces about politics, Hollywood, Wall Street, crime, and everything in between. Andy lives in Washington, DC, with his wife and two spoiled cats. He grew up in Portage, Michigan, and is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan.
