Description

Join the City of Lancaster to plant trees along a stream! Learn how trees protect and clean our waterways, and how to care for them to grow into healthy riparian buffers. Staff from LandStudies will teach a brief workshop on buffer maintenance, and then volunteers will get to work, replanting trees, removing weeds, and installing protective tree tubes and stakes. Volunteers should wear long pants and sleeves, closed toe shoes, and bring a water bottle and shovel (if you have one.)
