My name is Nick Moore-Perez. I am a local small business owner with a passion for education and inclusion. For most of the last decade I have hosted a charity event "Homophobia is Such a DRAG". This event began years ago, when someone in my new neighborhood began spewing hate for no reason. At the time, yes, I was FURIOUS. However I decided to fight hate with love and turn things around, so the event began. Simply as a costumed event, we are open to everyone. We have had men come as women, women come as men, friends come as friends, and every costume in between. I’m so excited to announce that we are working towards being officially a non profit organization. Over the years the event has grown considerably and we look forward to being able to donate to the next generation through our scholarship fund. Want to know more....
