As we move into these unprecedented times, we are all being called to open our hearts and our minds to envision the future we truly desire. In this New Age of Aquarius, we will be focusing as a collective on themes of independence and authenticity, community and humanity and inner truth discovered from deep introspection. The Cacao Spirit lovingly brings us into connection with ourselves through opening our hearts. Cacao gently assists us to deepen our understanding of who we are, to release old patterns and traumas, or move into a more self-confident space. Through elevating our connection to the inner-self and to our hearts, Cacao will assist us as we move through these transformational shifts happening on the planet. Scarab Deva will be facilitating a potent sound healing gong-bath with dynamic movement meditations in partnership with the spirit of Cacao. The healing medicine of Cacao has been used ceremonially in Central and South America for at least 4000 years. This medicine is organic and is ethically harvested and prepared with deep reverence for the plant spirit of Cacao. Come prepared to open your heart to more soul wisdom, abundance and joy. Please eat your last meal at least 2 hours before the ceremony. Please bring the following: *A journal and a strong intention for what you wish to bring healing to in your life. *A yoga mat *A warm jumper and socks *A blanket for if you get cold *A bottle of water. *A Drum or Rattle if you feel called Tickets will be available at the door at $55 per ticket. Only 10 spaces available. Please note there are some contraindications: If you have any significant health challenges (i.e. having chemotherapy treatment) or are on high levels of anti-depressants, this could preclude you from working with Cacao in a ceremonial context because of the ceremonial grade of cacao. So please check with your doctor! Cacao can contribute to a lowering of blood pressure, so if you are on blood pressure medicine, please check your medication for contra-indications. Prescription Anti-depressants: Those that use MAO inhibitors to treat depression may be contraindicated with chocolate. Please check your medication to see if this is the case. Serious Heart Conditions: cacao can slightly increase heart rate and is a vasodilator, so if you have a serious heart condition this is not an appropriate event for you.
