This Saturday, September 24th from 5-7 pm I'm having an outdoor celebration for the conclusion of the youth creative writing sessions. You're invited!
There will be food and (nonalcoholic) beverages and a DJ. Some of the kids will be sharing their writing. There will also be some special guest performers from the poetry/ spoken word community. New Directions for Youth in Northridge, CA is at 8448 Reseda Blvd, 91325. It's a multi office building next to Enterprise car rental. Street parking is available, or you can use the long driveway to park in the back where the event will be. It's family friendly. It's a quick event- short and sweet.
