DEDHAM, MA — First responders in Dedham and several surrounding towns will have access to COVID-19 vaccines being administered from the Dedham Town Hall. On Tuesday, state officials unveiled 114 COVID-19 vaccination sites for Massachusetts first responders. First responders working in Dedham, Canton, Dover, Milton, Needham, Norwood, Walpole, Westwood, Wellesley and Medfield will be able to receive a vaccine from the Dedham Town Hall location. First responder vaccinations begin Monday, Jan. 11 in Massachusetts. The Dedham site, located at 450 Washington Street, will be open Monday through Friday. The appointment link will be posted later this week. Officials remind first responders who plan on attending the clinic to bring their health insurance card and maintain social distancing. Masks will be required at all times. First responders should not attend if you have any COVID-19-like symptoms or were recently exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the past 14 days. Attendees should plan to stay for 15 minutes after they have been vaccinated for observation. Got a tip? Samantha Mercado can be reached at [email protected]
