Found dog. Do you recognize this dog? I call her Betty. I have had her since December 2021. I have been looking for you since then but I was looking in the wrong area. I got Betty from an older woman near the Virginia border. She said Betty had wondered up to her porch 4 ish months prior(which doesn’t fit the pawboost time line) and that she was working with the local rescues to find Bettys owner she called her molly. But really needed someone else to take her. That’s where I come in. The story of how she got Betty did seem odd to me but I brushed it off as someone being embarrassed about having to give up their pet and I didn’t want to push. So I took betty with the promise to continue to try to find her actual home. Which I intend to keep. Last night i came across a found post for Betty. I have contacted them but they have not responded,yet🤞. It appears Betty was found in Morganton. She was not taken to a shelter. She was given away. The finder states she seemed to be a loving indoor dog to we ( not sure who we is) decided she had a bad home and gave her away. Y’all we can’t do that. Help me find Betty’s original owner. I love her and she has a home with me if she no longer can fit in yours. Did she run off? I got her! Did someone steal her ( technically yes)? I got her. Did you dump her because you couldn’t care for her or found yourself in a bad situation? No judgment. Just let me know no one is missing her. Are you in a better place and want her back? Let meet! I know she misses you and I know some one has to be missing her. Please contact me with any information you may have about her owner. My heart aches for Betty, you can see her sadness.
