2 Cats Looking for a Loving Home

I'm in a really tough place here...I have 4 cats and recently moved from DC to South America. We got all our cats up to date with their shots so they can travel, but due to Ramsay's severe travel anxiety, we decided it would be best to take only 2 cats at a time since it's a 10+ hr journey. Dusty has zero problem travelling but I didn't want to leave Ramsay alone until we were able to come back. I left these two with a friend, who said she will look after them until I can return for them. Unfortunately, my friend developed severe cat allergies after one month and she just informed me that she will no longer be able to care for them. To make matters worse, I am unable to travel back to the states for at least a few months. I've been talking to several vets and they're all saying that a journey that long might be too dangerous for Ramsay. As much as it breaks my heart, it seems like the best thing for them is to find them a new forever home. Ramsay is a 6 years old male tabby with a quirky but wonderful personality. He LOVES to cuddle. He had struvite crystals 2+ years ago so he needs to be on wet food only. Dusty is a 5 years old female. She isn't a lap cat but loves to be near/next to you. She loves to bring gifts, whether it's a hair tie, bobby pin, q-tip, whatever she can find. And she plays fetch! Her favorite thing to fetch is a ball made from her own fur. They are bonded and must be kept together. They are indoor only. They are ok with dogs and kids but prefer the company of people and cats. They are both affectionate, well-behaved, funny and had made me very very happy. They are located in Rockville, MD. Please reply to the posting or text me to set up a meet and greet.
