Over the past 37 years in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area, Copeland Architecture & Construction has become an award-winning leader in the design-build residential market providing clients an enjoyable custom home experience in new and remodel construction. We are seeking to add a qualified Carpenter to the Copeland team. As a Lead Carpenter you will perform all types of carpentry work with an emphasis on finish carpentry. Some of the key items you will need to do on a daily basis will be: * Perform finish carpentry including hanging doors as well as installing base, casing, and shelving * Perform rough carpentry including concrete forms, wall framing, flooring, sheathing, roof framing/sheathing, and stairs * Perform exterior finish work including siding, setting windows and doors, decks, and flashing The qualifications you need to have for this role are: * Timeliness and dependability * Be comfortable working in all types of weather conditions * Be comfortable working with hand and power tools including but not limited to: skill saws, table saws, drills, sanders, routers, pneumatic nail guns, hand tools, and air compressors * Have a safety-focused mindset * Physically able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs * Good vision (corrective eyewear accepted) * Must be able to maneuver around jobsite obstacles typical to construction projects, including ascending and descending ladders * Must have relatively clean motor vehicle record to drive a company vehicle to sites/dump Pay & Benefits * $25-$35/hour DOE * Cell phone stipend * Medical insurance * Simple IRA with 3% company match * Continuing education and training Please call 509-838-9085 or e-mail your resume through Craigslist for consideration.
