So many Kittens!!!

My heart is absolutely breaking seeing all of these kittens needing homes. Do you all realize that our shelters are now over capacity, literally overflowing with surrenders and strays that are not being reclaimed?!?! If you have an outdoor cat and it is not fixed, then that is not an "accidental" litter, that is you, as an owner, being negligent! Kittens are adorable and great, but there are too many and not enough homes. Please spay and neuter your cats. There are resources if money is an issue. Rescues are being inundated with requests to surrender pets and are having to turn people away, as is the shelter. We need to do better as a community, educate yourself and understand you are not only contributing to the problem....you are the problem. Love, An animal rescuer who is sick of irresponsible people
