I am interviewing younger to middle age couples who love animals. In other words, I'm looking for people who don't consider their dogs or cats "pets", but important members of their family. I highly doubt that I will be alive this time next year and I need someone who is willing to properly care for my two young dogs and elderly cat. What you'll get for your efforts, other than sweet companionship—is something that I won't discuss in an ad. Recently widowed, I have no friends or family that I trust with whom and what I care about the most. I am not an old coot who is easily persuaded by scammers and grifters. This is so important to me that I'm willing to pay investigators to do a full background check on people, so if you're a charlatan, don't bother responding to this ad. However, if you're people who care about the peace of mind of a stranger, and genuinely love our 4-legged friends, I would sincerely like to talk to you. All I require of you is your patience and time.
