We are DeadSet, a Grateful Dead cover band, looking for a fun loving bassist, that has skills and is willing to learn material ranging from Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia Band, and anything the Dead ever covered. So there's lots of room to play around! Must play well with others, and have respectful communication skills. About us. We are an 8 piece band, with 2 guitarists, 2 female vocalists, 2 drummers, a keyboardist, and a bassist(you). We all like to sing and play around with multiple part harmonies. You, of course, are open to join in on that, if you like, but are not required to. We are all very easy to get along with, and super grateful for the experience we share together. We only hope that your are too, and it shows when we play together. Music is fun, and while we take it seriously, we don't take it too seriously. We all just wanna have a good time with this project. We practice Wednesday nights 6-9pm in NE Portland, and aim to play at least one a month around town. Hoping to play a little more, but that would be the bare minimum commitment we would need from you.
