CNC Router Operator needed in NW San Antonio for a well-established Sign Company. Starting pay is $17.00 - $19.00 hourly DOE. Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm work schedule. The Sign Production Associate will be responsible for vinyl cutting, digital printing, laminating, fabricating and assembly of all types of high-quality signage. Primary duties: Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters. Plan stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock. Load feed mechanism by lifting stock into position. Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces, adhering to international standards. Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
