Be very careful if a contractor named Mike contacts you about doing a roof job. I will not get more specific here so he doesn't sue me for libel, but if you are shopping for a roofer and a guy named Mike calls you, email me first to see if it's the same guy. He is the definition of "shady". He runs around with a partner and both have extensive police records. He will ruin your roof and then never contact you again. I am going to have to sue in small claims court, but he likely won't show up and I will win a default judgement, but that won't help me collect from a guy who lives day to day like he does. He relies on it being true that there's a sucker born every minute, and he will come over and sell himself as a nice guy. His police record says otherwise. DUI, drugs, domestic violence, violating a TPO, escape... Don't hire felons!!
