Community Conversations: Affordable Housing The Museum of Life and Science, Families Moving Forward, and Durham’s Neighborhood Improvement Services are hosting a series of 2-hour community conversations about affordable housing, funded by the National Science Foundation. These will occur at the Museum of Life and Science on Thursday, October 13th from 6:30 - 8:30PM, Saturday, October 22nd from 10AM-noon, and Thursday, October 27th from 6:30-8:30PM. We invite you to apply to join one of our initial conversations to help us shape public education products about affordable housing. We are asking demographic questions in an attempt to ensure as demographically diverse and representative an audience as possible for these initial conversations. Participants selected to join us for one of our three initial conversations will be compensated with a $50 Visa Gift Card for their time. Filling out a survey does not guarantee selection.
