Installation Helpers - Performs any combination of following tasks to assemble specific electronic data processing systems: receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed, gathers tools and supplies to be used at work site, according to instructions. Able to work unsupervised for short times. Assists in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects, for example wiring, wire way, and system materials.
Performs tasks as installing screws, bolts, or rivets to join or secure parts in place, using hand tools and power tools such as drills and impact drivers. Mounts assembled components, for example, hardware components, plastic cover, and plastic wire loom onto metal wire ways, connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points. Perform intermediate assembly tasks, for example filing and cleaning metal channels required for system components. Adjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics
Tools Used – Will use Drills, Impact Drivers, Tape measure, and miscellaneous hand tools.
Safety – Long pants, sleeved shirts, work shoes, No loose clothing, and Long hair must be tied up or tucked in.
Capabilities - Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, walk up and down several flights of stairs, able to work at ladder heights and must be able to bend repeatedly, and work a full shift standing on concrete flooring.
